1. Introduction
Welcome to Audity ("we," "our," or "us"). Audity is a mobile application for professional audit, inspection, and compliance workflows. It supports multi-level checklists, compliance scoring, severity-based findings, photo evidence, signatures, and PDF or Excel report export — built for offline field work.
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Audity mobile app and describes our practices in accordance with applicable privacy laws and App Store / Google Play requirements.
By downloading, installing, or using Audity, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2.3 Information We Do Not Collect
Audity does not require a cloud account or server-side registration. We do not upload your audit answers, photos, or reports to our servers by default. We do not sell your personal data or use it for cross-app advertising profiles.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above solely to operate audit workflows inside the app:
- Run multi-level inspections with compliance scoring and PASS/FAIL audit rules.
- Store audits, inspections, photos, and reports locally for offline field work.
- Generate and export PDF and Excel reports with photo evidence and signatures.

Audity does not sell personal data.
4. Device Permissions
Audity may request the following device permissions. You can deny any permission; however, related features may not work without it.
| Permission | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Camera | Capture on-site photos for inspection evidence. |
| Photo Library | Select existing photos to attach to inspection questions. |

5. Data Storage & Security
Local-first storage: Audits, inspections, photos, signatures, and app settings are stored primarily on your device using secure local storage (MMKV). This enables offline operation so you can complete field inspections without an internet connection.
App lock: You can optionally protect Audity with a PIN or biometric lock (Face ID / fingerprint). PIN credentials are stored locally on your device.
Demo mode: When you try the guided demo during onboarding, sample audit data is used to illustrate app features. Demo data is not treated as production records.
Factory reset: You can permanently delete all local audits, inspections, reports, and settings from within the app. This action cannot be undone.
Security measures: We implement reasonable technical safeguards for data stored on your device. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for securing your device and backing up exported reports.
Data retention: Audit records remain on your device until you delete them within the app, perform a factory reset, or uninstall the application.
6. Third-Party Services
Audity may integrate with the following third-party services:
- Google Sheets (via Google Apps Script) – when you import a checklist from a Google Spreadsheet URL, the spreadsheet link is sent to a configured Apps Script endpoint to convert the sheet into a checklist template. Your inspection answers are not uploaded through this flow unless you explicitly export or share them. Use of Google services is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google AdMob – may display advertisements in the app. AdMob may collect device and usage data according to Google's Privacy Policy.
- RevenueCat – manages in-app subscriptions and premium entitlements. Purchase and subscription status may be processed according to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
- On-device speech recognition – voice input uses platform speech-to-text services on your device. Transcripts are inserted into fields you choose; we do not operate a separate speech transcription server.
We do not control third-party services and encourage you to review their privacy policies before connecting external template sources or making in-app purchases.
7. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Data leaves the app only when you initiate it, for example:
- Export or share – sharing a PDF or Excel report via email, messaging apps, or cloud storage.
- Template import – submitting a Google Sheets URL to import a checklist template.
- Support email – sending feedback, bug reports, or feature requests through your email app.
- Legal requirements – if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
- Protection of rights – to protect the rights, property, or safety of Audity, our users, or others.
8. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:
- Access – view audit and inspection data stored in the app at any time.
- Deletion – delete individual audits or remove all local data via factory reset or uninstalling the app.
- Permission control – manage camera, photo library, location, microphone, and other permissions in your device Settings.
- GPS tagging – enable or disable GPS metadata in Audity Settings.
- App lock – configure or disable PIN and biometric protection.
To exercise any rights or request assistance with your data, please contact us using the information in Section 11 below.

It is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. We will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or App Store update notes. Your continued use of Audity after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
